"Fresh" Money Saving Idea... Sick of the glass bowl centerpieces?  Why not use fresh fruit arrangements for your centerpiece?

Summer Wedding
Create freshfruit kabobs for your special event!  Include fruits like: pineapple, strawberries, grapes, melon, etc.  Stick completed kabobs into a terra botta pot.  A great smelling, visually pleasing centerpiece that your guests will be raving about for months!

Fall Wedding
Make your own caramel apples!  Cover each apple in a plastic bag and tie with a ribbon in your parties' color pallette.  Neatly pile the apples onto a decorative plate (check your local dollar store or flea market for patterns that match your scheme).  Voila - an inexpensice, edible centerpiece!

It will officially be Spring in just a few days.  I can't help but be excited about all the beautiful colors that will surface in the weeks ahead.  I am confident that those brilliant colors will spill over into the trends for this Spring.  What do you think?

2.3.10

I think that more people should get married in the winter months.  Venues are cheaper to rent (at least here in Michigan as its the off season), its easier to coordinate your dates with all your vendors (since you are probably one of their only gigs), your wedding colors can bring so much life to a dull and dreary background, and everyone needs something to lift their spirits - and lets face it - weddings are fun!

Just something to think about.

Today, on Thanksgiving Day eve, I am reminded of traditions. Traditions are generally passed down through generations; but traditions have to begin somewhere - like when a couple unites in marriage to create a new family.

As you are planning your special day, try not to get caught up in the unimportant details of the day, but remember that your wedding day is the start of your new family... and new traditions.

Just something to think about.

People have been asking me, "Why would I need to hire a Wedding Consultant?  My friends all planned their own special days without anyones help."

Here is my response and my challenge to you:

1.  Take a realistic look at the demands on your time. If you and your fiancé are employed full-time, your busy schedules might dictate a need for a consultant’s help to pull off a perfect wedding.

2.  Think about your knowledge and levels of experience in various areas pertaining to wedding planning.  For example, if you don’t know much about the details involved in booking a caterer, you’ll probably save time and money by employing an expert.

Wedding Consultants will save you MONEY by....
...reccommending quality vendors within your budget.
     ...helping you eliminate unnecessary costs.

Wedding Consultants will save you TIME by....
...creating a timeline just for you.
     ...guiding you through wedding etiquettte.

Just something to think about.
